NARC is on the move.....
As you may know
NARC suddenly lost the use of its usual Happy Landings venue and so we
have been urgently exploring a number of options for the club to
consider.
It's fair to say we have had lots
of good suggestions and we would really like to share some of the ideal
ones with our members so that you can help with the decision, so we are
taking the clubs meetings to some of these starting with our next
meeting this coming WEDNESDAY JULY 30th which will be at THE PHOENIX
CENTRE, 132 MILE CROSS ROAD, NORWICH NR3 2LD.
It is located
between houses on the piece of Mile Cross between Drayton Road and
Aylsham Road and is immediately opposite the junction to Woodward Road
(incidentally on a bus route). The Phoenix Centre has very little
parking on site but there is plenty of unrestricted parking on both
sides of the road immediately outside.
or
As
you would probably expect, the venues we are considering are quite
different in their own ways and each have their Pros and Cons, but most
things in life are a compromise and we feel it is important to show you
what we are considering and look forward to your feedback.
Because
we need to be able to discuss the venue situation we have postponed
Bright Sparks this month, but the following weeks meeting on August 6th
goes ahead as originally planned with Malcolm and Rogers talk on
Getting started with PSK31 and RTTY data modes - details of the venue
for this talk at The Phoenix Centres meeting and on our website from
Thursday 31st July.
Please help us by telling everyone who does not have web access.
Thanks again for all the offers of help and suggestions and we hope to see you at The Phoenix Centre next Wednesday.
