Welcome to the home page of NARC, the Norfolk Amateur Radio Club.
Please take your time to look around. Sections of the website are not seen unless you register - please do so using the menu on the left, using your callsign or SWL id for your username. This is a new login and different from the Forum from the old website. So you will need to re-register.
Information is only used by NARC and not given to any other organisation.
NARC caters for a wide variety of interests within the hobby of Amateur Radio and its membership ranges from those experienced in operating and building electronic equipment to complete beginners. The latter have the opportunity to participate in courses run by NARC, for Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced licences.
The Social aspect of the club is thriving with club dinners, family events and Special Events callsigns when our "MAC" van is in attendance. Again this year we will be operating from Happisburgh Lighthouse and the Police Gala Day, amongst others. NARC operates in various contests and is competing again in the RSGB CC on 80m, CWNFD and SSB FD.
We have a comprehensive club programme running all year, this includes external events, contesting and Special Events. The complete list can be seen on the diary page.
We cater for the younger members of the club with our "Bright Sparks" evenings when we dedicate an evening to assist the younger members in construction and operating techniques.
July sees the Barford Radio Rally - full details can be found here.
Please enjoy, and pass feedback to the members of the committee
